Ichigo Kurosaki is a 15-year-old high-school
student with orange hair and brown eyes. He is an ordinary student
except for his ability
to see spirits and ghost.
One day, Ichigo's family is suddenly attacked
by an evil spirit called "Hollow".
It turns out that Hollow is after Ichigo who has a strong spiritual
power. Rukia, who claims to be a Soul Reaper from the “Soul Society”,
tries to save Ichigo's life, but instead, she receives serious wound
during the battle. As a last resort, Rukia decides to give a part
of her Soul Reaper power to Ichigo. Unexpectedly, Ichigo absorbs
most of her Soul Reaper power due to his own tremendous spiritual
power. As a result, Ichigo becomes a Soul Reaper as a substitute
for Rukia and starts his battles with Hollows.
