Shu is a descendant of legendary known as "Warrior of Light", who has a hidden ability called "Shadow". One day, Shu discovers his own "Shadow", which turns out to be a Blue Dragon. Shu joins Zora, who has already been on a quest to find other descendants of "Warrior of Light". During his journey, Shu struggles to dominate his own "shadow," a wild Blue Dragon. He tries to overcome conflicts and nurture friendships with the fellows of his quest: Crook, a machine-savvy heroin, Zora, a mysterious female soldier, Jiiro, a cool boy, Marumalo, a comedian, and Bouquet, a funny girl. He also learns important lessons through battles with his enemy: Nene & Deathroy, and Captain Logi. Besides the great adventure of Shu, this story is peppered with the mystery of the legend "Shadow" and its charade.
