|
Hikaru Shindo is possessed by the ghost of
Sai Fujiwara, a famous GO player in the Heian period about 1000 years
ago. Sai,
who had a strong attachment to Go, had wandered the earth since that
time. Hikaru had never been interested in Go, but after his possession
by Sai, he came to understand and feel the ghost’s strong desire
to play Go again. Moved by Sai’s passion for the game, Hikaru enters
the world of competitive Go. Sai and Hikaru, met one another in a
place beyond time and space. Together, they strive to master Go.
Go is a Japanese traditional game of strategy. Two players complete
against each other to occupy the most territory on the Go board using
smooth black and white
stones.
