TV series, "Hikaru no Go" triggered
a boom in GO among the children in Japan, and gained a good reputation
from its audience
and children everywhere wanted more. Pierrot responded to the demand
by producing this TV special.
Hikaru, now fully-grown a professional Go
player, has devoted himself to becoming an even stronger player to
outpace his rival, Akira.
One day, Hikaru finds out about HOKUTOHAI, a junior GO competition
among Japan, China and Korea. Only the top 3 players get tickets
for the competition from Japan and one has already taken by Akira,
the strongest GO player on junior level.
Hikaru encounters a new rival and struggles through difficult games.
Hikaru and his competitors fight against each other to win the last
two tickets!
